Pete, the lead talent and creative engine of Bluebell Fine Cabinetry & Design since its launch in 1985, oversees the design studio and showroom. He ensures that Bluebell continues to deliver: on its commitment to unparalleled client responsiveness, innovation and excellence in design and products and the fit and finish that are our hallmark. You’ll see his guidance and influence in every project, along with evidence of his unique flair and style.

Jake Taylor

Managing Partner

We think of Jake Taylor, Bluebell Fine Cabinetry & Design's Managing Partner, as the company’s pilot as he draws on his years in building trades management to expertly navigate the firm to new and unprecedented levels. Like any good pilot, Jake pays sharp attention to the details and doesn’t miss an opportunity to exercise his passion for continual improvement—in this case, in service to Bluebell’s skilled team, partners & clients. As a result, Bluebell is growing and thriving.

Lori Kurnitsky

Senior Project Designer, NCIDQ

All good designers are committed to listening to clients and interpreting their needs—and not letting them make any big mistakes. Where Senior Project Designer Lori Kurnitsky is exceptional: she remembers that at the end of the day, it’s their space, not hers. On the backend, she focuses on creating a smooth, effortless experience for everyone involved, from clients to installers and builders, and co-leads Bluebell's design teams.

Victor Fernandez

Project Designer

Victor Fernandez’s attributes as a creative, effectual Project Designer include a big personality and an even bigger willingness to take care of whatever needs to be handled. His training as a civil engineer gives him a unique perspective on the design process and meeting clients’ goals and vision, while facilitating his understanding of—and ability to explain to homeowners—the technical aspects of a project.

Robert Ross

Senior Technical Designer

A self-described total detail nerd, Senior Technical Designer Robert Ross creates CAD standards, draws designs, reviews orders and confirms site measurements while heading up the technical design team. Preferring a simple, clean design aesthetic himself, Robert manages his work environment with his favorite tools: a mouse with 8 programmable buttons…and duct tape.

Lisa Martin

Technical Designer, CKD

With nearly 30 years of experience as a Certified Kitchen Designer, Lisa Martin serves as a Technical Designer at Bluebell, ensuring every design is technically sound and seamlessly coordinated from concept through production. Her career spans nearly every facet of the kitchen and bath industry, including leadership roles as a Corporate Designer and Creative Director, with deep experience in product development and showroom design. Lisa is known for her ability to find solutions where others see constraints, and she serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the NKBA Susquehanna Valley chapter.

Michele Wood

Technical Designer

Technical Designer Michele Wood augments three decades of designing everything from trendy penthouses to splendid cathedrals with her passion for the heart of the home and cooking creatively. Enhancing her value even further are 12+ years working with woodworkers & designers to create exquisite cabinetry, furniture and millwork for high-end residences.

Tom Rutkowski

Technical Designer

Tom Rutkowski, Technical Designer, has decades of experience building on his BFA in Design, creating hundreds of beautiful, innovative yet practical living spaces that owners love to enjoy with friends and family. You’ll also see evidence of Tom’s fine woodworking and cabinetmaking skills in his insistence on the superb fit & finish of every project.

Bjorn Shotwell

Technical Designer

Bjorn is a Technical Designer who specializes in creating detailed visuals and works closely with our network of suppliers and vendors, ensuring the perfect fit and finish of every project he’s a part of here at Bluebell. With a background in interior design, Bjorn got his start in high-end cabinetry manufacturing in his home city of Toronto before pivoting to luxury hotel and restaurant design for a New York firm. His greatest strength lies in his ability to balance technical precision with creative problem-solving, allowing him to craft spaces that blend function and form.

Isaac Ross

Technical Designer

In his role as a Technical Designer at Bluebell, Isaac assists project designers by creating AutoCAD drawings, SketchUp models, and handling the logistics of pricing and order management. After graduating from college with a background in economics and philosophy, Isaac was inspired by his father and fellow Bluebell colleague Robert Ross to transition into a career in design from a desire to create and solve problems. His attention to detail is his strongest skill, allowing him to ensure accuracy in every aspect of the design process while helping to create functional and beautiful custom kitchens.

Matt Mormando

Installation Manager

Matt Mormando started as an installer and now leads the team thanks to his excellence in craftsmanship, attention to detail and innovative problem-solving. Happily for us and our clients, he’s a self-professed compulsive organizer who likes a clean and orderly jobsite—almost as much as he likes his oscillating multi-tool for cutting in hard-to-reach places

Josh Barta

Installer

Installer Josh Barta first came to Bluebell Fine Cabinetry & Design as an occasional helper to his dad. After completing 4 years’ carpentry education at his tech high school, he joined BFCD in an official capacity. Josh is responsible for rough and finish carpentry, cabinetry and electrical. He’s also the one who compulsively lays power tools on their sides to prevent them being knocked over and damaging floors or cabinetry.

Scotty Hayden

Installer

For Scotty, finish carpentry wasn't just a career choice; it was the only logical outcome of a lifelong love of woodworking. After getting his start as a general carpenter right out of high school, he spent 15 years working for finish carpentry companies before heading out West to run his own business. The East Coast eventually won, and Scotty joined the Bluebell team with his full range of skills in tow: cabinetry, trim, electrical, and all carpentry work. He loves that every Bluebell project is different, and that he gets to work with top-of-the-line materials and designers every day. His meticulous attention to detail is what brings it all together.

Matt McWilliams

Installer

Matt has spent his career chasing the finer side of construction — starting in framing, then moving to a custom wood shop, and eventually landing at Bluebell. He handles cabinetry installation, appliances, and stone oversight, bringing a methodical attention to detail to every project. For Matt, what sets Bluebell apart is simple: the quality of the work, and the fact that there's always enough time to make sure every box gets checked.

Colin Stayton

Vice President, Client Experience

Colin Stayton’s background in marketing luxury brands convinced Managing Partner Jake Taylor to hire him to develop a holistic client experience commensurate with our fine cabinetry. Kai Progulske

Client Experience Manager

Kai came to Bluebell after years spent partnering with designers and architects throughout the Philadelphia market in the luxury appliance industry, work that gave her an appreciation for the design community and how important collaboration is to a successful project. As Client Experience Manager, she focuses on business development and client relationships, building strategic partnerships within the design community while supporting Bluebell's continued growth. What she loves most about Bluebell is the people and culture,the genuine passion for excellence, and the shared vision everyone rallies behind. Building genuine relationships and a competitive drive to deliver the best possible experience are what make her so effective in her role.

Brie Genovese

Vice President, Marketing

As Bluebell’s Vice President of Marketing, Brie is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance brand recognition and business performance across multiple channels. With a background in PR and communications, including her recent role as communications lead at Robern – a Kohler company, she brings a wealth of experience in luxury branding. Brie’s strongest skill is blending creativity with execution, ensuring that marketing initiatives are both impactful and measurable, while leading a talented team of content creators to achieve strategic goals.

Madison Cardamone

Marketing Coordinator

Some people discover Bluebell through a showroom visit or a friend's newly renovated kitchen. Madison grew up with it. As the daughter of the firm's founder, she's had a front-row seat to what makes Bluebell special from the very beginning. After interning here in 2022, finishing college, and working as a Marketing Coordinator for a luxury residential technology integration firm, she returned to join the team full time. She now oversees day-to-day marketing, with a constant eye toward building brand awareness and elevating the Bluebell experience at every touchpoint.

Christian Na

Content Manager

Christian's career has taken him through architecture, construction, technology design, and consumer retail. At Bluebell, he serves as Content Manager, overseeing the creation and curation of content through meaningful, strategic brand storytelling. What drew him to the team is a shared enthusiasm for clients who appreciate quality at every level — the big ideas and the finer details alike. He's driven by a deep belief in the power of communication: that brands, kitchens, and people are nothing without the stories they tell.

Daniel Restrepo

Director of Operations

Meet Daniel, our Director of Operations who plays a vital role in the seamless delivery and installation of our fine cabinetry. Daniel oversees company logistics and coordinates the countless moving parts involved in delivering and installing custom projects for our discerning clientele. Drawing on his experience as a critical care nurse, he understands the importance of meticulous attention to detail, quick thinking and adaptability - qualities that are invaluable in ensuring the intricacies of your design are brought to life with the ultimate satisfaction.

Ryan Costello

Executive Assistant

Ryan Costello serves as Executive Assistant to Jake Taylor, Bluebell’s Managing Partner, providing support across daily operations, human resources, and executive priorities. His background spans higher education, professional sports, and logistics, including his role as Training Center Manager for the Philadelphia Flyers. Known for his strong organizational skills and attention to detail, Ryan is committed to supporting and empowering the entire Bluebell team

Kristen Holzhauer

Controller

Although Kristen kicked off her career with Bluebell as our staff accountant, she has grown into quite the amazing Controller. Our rapidly growing business is reaping the benefits of her considerable construction accounting capabilities and of her sharp, cheerful and hard-to-ruffle personality. With her great math mind and warm smile, she's a huge asset to our team.

Jill Homiak

Staff Accountant

Jill is the Staff Accountant at Bluebell, responsible for processing accounts payable and maintaining vendor relations in support of financial operations. With a background in accounting within the manufacturing and government sectors, she joined Bluebell to gain experience in the construction industry and work with a smaller, close-knit team. Jill’s strongest skill is building strong relationships with vendors and coworkers, contributing to the seamless creation of the beautiful spaces Bluebell is known for.

Noemi Negrete

Human Resources & Talent Lead

As Human Resources & Talent Lead at Bluebell Fine Cabinetry & Design, Noemi is responsible for attracting top talent, fostering a positive employee experience, and supporting the culture that makes Bluebell a great place to work. Before joining Bluebell, she built her career in human resources across staffing, legal, and higher education, where developing strong employee relationships and creating positive workplace experiences were at the heart of her work. Noemi was drawn to Bluebell by its people-first culture and the level of care and dedication reflected in every project. Her greatest strength is building genuine relationships, creating an environment where employees feel heard, supported, and empowered to succeed.
