Updated: May 9

As luxury kitchen designers with decades of experience meeting clients’ needs, Bluebell Fine Cabinetry & Design’s talented professionals know how to make a lasting impression. And not just with our very happy clients, whose visions we fulfill. Throughout 2023, industry and mainstream publications have taken note of our stunning kitchens, uncommon solutions, innovative materials and truly exceptional craftsmanship. They have featured Bluebell FCD’s award-winning designs, recognized our outstanding designers and spotlighted our beautifully crafted cabinetry and products.

It gives us great satisfaction to greet the end of this highly successful year with a quick recap of the generous national and regional press coverage that makes us so proud to be the team behind Bluebell Fine Cabinetry & Design.

National media covers Bluebell FCD’s luxury kitchen design

Pete Cardamone, our founder and lead designer, was quoted in the January/February issue January/February issue of Food Network Magazine. He talked about workstation sinks, one of the top 10 trends featured in The Kitchen Report section.

Four enchanting Bluebell kitchens illustrated color trends in the January/February issue of Kitchen & Bath Design News.

Luxury kitchens by Bluebell FCD designers win awards, illustrate articles

Bluebell FCD’s Lori Kurnitsky won first and third place for two of her kitchens in NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association) Design Awards’ Best Large Kitchen category. Lori shared recognition with frequent partner Michele Plachter Design for both winning designs and with Bluebell’s Olga Carlson for the third-place kitchen. The awards announcements appeared in the March/April KBB, the official publication of NKBA|KBIS, and in LUXE Interiors+Design magazine.

An article on trends in luxury kitchen design in the May Kitchen & Bath Design News Stylewatch section, “Island Time,” showed the innovative islands in several Bluebell kitchens and quoted Bluebell designers. That was followed up in the June/July issue’s Product Trend Report with mention of Bluebell’s long-time partner Premier Custom-Built and an image of exquisitely crafted white oak reeded cabinetry designed by our own Victor Hernandez.

Another Lori Kurnitsky Bluebell kitchen appeared in the 2023 Kitchen Cabinet Style & Design Guide in the September Kitchen & Bath Design News. The article, “Stage Setters,” also listed Premier Custom-Built, which crafted the rich quartered figured white ash cabinetry shown in the accompanying image.

Regional coverage for Bluebell FCD’s luxury kitchen design

Design NJ: New Jersey’s Home & Design Magazine featured the blissfully airy, spacious and trend-setting transformation of a large, dated entertainment and family living space in a Ventnor, N.J., shore home. The luxury kitchen design by Bluebell’s Victor Hernandez was a March web exclusive, providing extensive coverage of Victor’s planning, choices and creative resolutions of the project’s challenges.

The February/March issue of Design NJ: New Jersey’s Home & Design Magazine’s cover image leads to an article that describes another fruitful collaboration between Lori Kurnitsky and Michele Plachter Design. “Double Vision” discusses the luxury kitchen design that solved a foot-traffic challenge by creating two distinct cooking and entertaining areas in the home’s large kitchen space.

“Modern Technology Melded with Nature,” an article in the April 23 Philadelphia Inquirer Real Estate section, featured a whole-house renovation with a new Bluebell kitchen designed to meet the needs and vision of the foodie homeowner.

Innovative kitchen design puts Bluebell FCD designers on Best Of lists in Philly region

Bluebell Fine Cabinetry & Design was named to the Best Kitchen Designers list in Philadelphia Style magazine’s annual Best of Style Readers’ Choice Fall 2023 Guide to Luxury Living in Philadelphia.

Main Line Today’s readers chose Bluebell as Best Custom Cabinet Maker and Best Kitchen & Bath Design in the magazine’s 2023 “Best of” awards, announced in the July 7 issue.
